Pro tip #07: Serving sizes
The least glamorous part of a recipe is no less important (and I share the best serving size I've ever seen)
Serving sizes may be the least glamorous part of a recipe, but they are no less important than any other part.
They are also the bit of information that recipe writers most often forget to include.
In fact, one of the first things I do when editing a cookbook manuscript is scroll through the entire document to flag all the recipes that are missing the serving size. There is always at least one.
The serving size usually appears after the recipe title or intro (or sometimes at the top of an ingredients list, depending on the book design).
