what an inspiration! I was just revisiting Stone Soup to start a children's cooking class with this book to be followed by other food related children's books. I am so happy I came across your post while I was looking to see when an order I placed would arrive. This is fantastic!

I just did a blueberry newsletter issue with a Blueberries for Sal section.

Love these books!

Small section with a memory of when I read it so often to my son that he could recite quite a bit of it!

George and Martha are hits around here. Along with those other classics of course.

Each Peach Pear Plum really takes me back to my daughter's early years! What a comforting obsession

I don't know about you, but at a push, I could probably still recite the whole thing from memory! That is one of the books that is still on the shelf. x

I share this obsession! I find children's books comforting, nostalgic and totally inspirational. They crop up in all my recipe books - once I was interviewed by a very thorough reader who had counted up all the references in my book Leaf and I was quite surprised at quite how many there were! I am absolutely determined one day to combine the two - in various ways.
